WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Following post of Senior Research Fellow is to be filled-up purely on temporary, adhoc and contractual basis under the time bound research project entitled “Neurobehavioral changes in rats treated with methyl mercury at gestational stage of fetal development” sponsored by ICMR at National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad. The post is purely temporary, adhoc & contractual basis and co-terminus with the project:-

Senior Research Fellow (One)

18000/ + 20% HRA p.m.

Essential: M. Sc. in Neurosciences/ Life Sciences / Medical Physiology / Zoology/
Biochemistry or equivalent PG degree from a recognized university with good academic records and TWO years research experience Desirable: Animal experience in the field of developmental neurotoxicity, behavioral and neurosciences will be highly preferable/ advantages. Working hand or expertise in
operating animal behavioral assessing instruments is highly desirable. Computer monitory/supervisory laboratory work is also desirable.

Preference will be given to candidate who have passed National written test like UGCCSIR NET, ICMR for JRF or lectureship with 2years research experience.

• To conduct animal experiments and treatment.

• To conduct day-today behavioral observations and data collection.
• Data analysis.
• Computation of data and report writing

35 Years.

Relaxable upto 5 years to SC / ST / OBC, and PH candidates.

The interested candidates meeting the above mentioned conditions of eligibility may appear for the walk-in-interview at the Institute on 07.06.2013 at 10.30 AM. The candidates have to submit their detailed Bio-data along with the copies of certificates and testimonials at the time of reporting for interview. The original certificates may be submitted for verification on demand. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
