WALK IN INTERVIEW (No. 18-24&25/scheme/2013)
A 'walk-in-interview' will be held on 8-7-2013 (for two posts of Senior Research Fellow) and 9-7-2013 (for two posts of Senior Research Fellow) at Directorate of Weed Science Research, Jabalpur (MP) under the schemes funded NFBSFRA (lCAR). These posts are sanctioned upto 31-3-2016 (for project 1) and upto 31-3-2017 (for project 2). The incumbent(s) shall not have any claim for regular appointment under ICAR or Government of India during or after the completion:-
1 Name of the projects
I. Study of domestication traits of two weed species (PROJECT 1)
2. Bioremediation of contaminants in polluted sites: use of weedy plants (PROJECT 2)
2 Emoluments Rs. 16000 + 20% HRA (for first & second years)
Rs. 18000 + 20% HRA (for third year and onwards)
Essential PROJECT I: Masters degree in Plant Biotechnology/ Biochemistry (Position 1)
Qualifications Masters degree in Agronomy/Plant Physiology (Position 2)
PROJECT 2: Masters degree in Environmental Science / Soil Science (Position 1)
Masters degree in Plant Physiology/Biochemistry/ Microbiology (Position 2)
4 Desirable
PROJECT 1:
Qualifications Position 1: Working knowledge of routine molecular biology work as evidenced by research papers
Position 2:
(i) Job warrants extensive travel for survey work throughout India
(ii) Knowledge of conducting field experiments
PROJECT 2:
Position 1: Practical experience of analysis of heavy metals in soil, water and plants,
macro and micronutrients, and handling instruments like Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometers, Multi-parameter water analyzer etc.
Position 2: Practical experience of lab experimentation related to physiological observations of plants by using TLC, HPLC and analysis of herbicide residues in water, plant and soil.
5 Date & time of 8-07-2013 11.00 AM (for Project 1)
Interview 9-07-2013 11.00 AM (for Project 2)
6 Age limit 35 years as on date of interview. Age relaxation allowed will be 5 years for SC/ST/woman candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates The above posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis. The selected candidate will have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Directorate. Interested candidates are required to appear for the 'walk-ininterview' on the date and time specified above at this Directorate along with their application giving full BIO-DATA, attested copies of testimonials and one passport size photograph. Original certificates need to be produced at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
