WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

A walk-in-interview will be held at CENTRAL INSTITUTE FOR SUBTROPICAL
HORTICULTURE, at Rae Bareli Road, Telibagh, Lucknow an Institute under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), for selection of Research Associate, Senior Research Fellow, Project Assistant, Computer operator, Office Assistant and Scout as per details given below:

RA (One)

For Master Degree 23000/-per month(fixed) + 20% HRA, for PhD.

24000/- per month(fixed) +20% HRA

Essential: MCA/M.Tech. Computer/ M.Sc. Bioinformatics

Desirable:

1. Experience in web based database development/ management.
2. Sound working knowledge in integrating MySQL database with the PHP applications, building and maintenance of core PHP based applications

SRF (One)

Rs. 16000/- per month for 1st and 2nd year Rs. 18000/- per month for 3rd year + 20% HRA

Essential:

Master Degree in science/ Eng., Geography

Desirable: 1. Strong working knowledge in GIS technologies for  Updating map, georeferencing, digitization of toposheet

2. Experience in ESRI and open source applications

1. DBT Project entitled “Development of National Database on Mango (Project Duration: Up to March February 2018)

Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards

Project Assistant (One)

Rs. 10500/- per month (fixed)

Essential: Agriculture/Science Graduate from a recognized University

Desirable:

1. Experience/working knowledge in data collection.
2. Computer software like MS Word, Excel

2. “Intellectual Property Management and Transfer/Commercialization of Agricultural Technology Scheme (Up-scaling of existing components i.e. Intellectual Property Right)”

(Project Duration: Up to March 2014 and likely to be increased )

Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards

Research Associate (One)

Rs. 23,000/- per month (fixed) + 20% HRA

Essential : Post graduate degree in any branch of Life Sciences including agriculture and allied fields. Knowledge in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Laws along with protection and commercialization of technologies, work experience in Patent Search Operations and filing.

Desirable: Preference to candidate with certified course in IPR, agribusiness specialization, Superior writing and communication skills

3. PPV & FRA project entitled Developing national and creating facilities for DUS testing in Mango (Mangifera indica L.) Guava (Psidium guajava L.)and Litchi (Litchi chinensis)” (Project Duration: Up to November, 2013)

Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards

6. Application of microorganisms in Agriculture and allied sector (Project period up to 31.3.2014)

Date of Interview : 8.8.2013

Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards

SRF (One)

Rs. 16000/- per month for 1st and 2nd year Rs. 18000/- per month for 3rd year + 20% HRA

Essential : Post graduate in Microbiology/Biochemistry with 60% marks

Desirable: Experience in fermentation technology, waste utilization, enzyme production

7- NAIP Project-“Holistic approach for improving livelihood security through livestock based farming system in Barabanki and Raebareli districts of U.P. (Project Duration: Up to March, 2014)

Date of Interview : 8.8.2013

Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards

Research Associate (One)

Rs. 23000/- per month (fixed) + 20%HRA

Essential: Post graduate degree/Ph.D. in Horticulture (Pomology) with minimum 60% marks.

Desirable : Knowledge in fruit, soil analysis and computer applications

Age Limit :

For Research Associate : 40 years for male and 45 years for female candidates.

For Senior Research Fellow, Project Assistant, Office Assistant, Computer operator and Scout: 35 years for male and 40 years for female candidates.

Note : Age will be calculated as on the date of interview. Relaxation of age admissible for SC/ST/ OBC candidates as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules.

1. Candidates should bring his/her bio-data original certificates supporting educational qualifications and experience. Photocopies of certificates, a latest passport size photograph at the time of interview.
2. The above-mentioned position are purely on contract basis and co-terminus with the project. The person recruited will not have any claims for absorption in any capacity after the termination of the project.
3. No T.A./D.A. will be paid to candidates for attending the interview.
