Dr. Arun Trivedi | CSIR Young Scientist Award 2013 (Biological Sciences) | Congrats !!!!

The CSIR Young Scientist Award for the year 2013 in Biological Sciences is given to Dr. Arun Trivedi of CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow in recognition of his outstanding contributions in identifying new use of an in house produced drug (Centchroman; also known as Ormeloxifene) as an anti leukemic agent (Apotosis and differentiation inducer in myeloid leukemia) and protein targets of Tamoxifen from breast cancer cells is quite significant work of the nominee. Further, identification of new targets (substrates) for E3 ubiquitin Ligases E6AP and FBW7 corroborating their role in cancer pathogenesis has been most significant work of the nominee.
