Recruitment of Laboratory Technical Assistants on Contract
A Walk-in Interview will be held for Laboratory Technical Assistants at IISER Thiruvananthapuram on 17.07. 2013 from 10 AM.
Qualification: MSc with good academic record in Life sciences/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Chemistry /Physics. Good command of English language is essential.
Age limit: Below 30 years.
Number of positions : Biology -3, Chemistry – 5, Physics-2 ( 1 post for chemistry is reserved for OBC)
Job Profile: Assisting undergraduate students in Biology, Chemistry and Physics laboratory courses, day to day laboratory maintenance, organizing lab essentials in the undergraduate and research laboratories etc
Terms of employment:
• The positions are purely temporary for a period of one year and it may be extended for one more year after reviewing performance and institute’s requirement.
• Remuneration : Rs. 15, 000/- (consolidated per month)
• Selected candidates will have to join duty within one week.
• Candidates having the prescribed qualification may attend the Walk-in Interview with their Bio-data and original certificates with copies.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
