WALK- IN-INTERVIEW

Applications are invited for the recruitment of Research Associate (RA) and Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under the NFBSFARA scheme “Chemo-profiling of potential phyto-acaricides and their functional characterization for controlling resistant cattle ticks”. The positions are purely temporary on contractual basis and there will be no provision of absorption/re-employment in IVRI after termination of the time bound project.

For Research Associate (01):

Essential Qualification: Ph.D./M.V.Sc./M.Sc. with Ist division or 60% marks in Zoology/Entomology /Parasitology with at least two years experience in handling arthropod vectors, natural and synthetic insecticides, tissue sectioning and microscopy, knowledge on in vitro and in vivo data generation and proficiency in computer application and statistical software. Published research papers will be desirable.

Age limit: 40 years (Relaxation for women and SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms)

Emoluments: Rs. 24000 + HRA p.m. for Ph.D. and Rs. 23000 + HRA for Master’s degree.

For Senior Research Fellow (01):

Essential Qualification: M.V.Sc./M.Sc. with Ist division or 60% marks in Biotechnology/Biochemistry with experience in molecular biology techniques.

Age limit: 35 years (Relaxation for women and SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms)

Emoluments: Rs. 16000 + HRA p.m.

Date of Interview: 12.07.13 at 11.00 AM in the Division of Parasitology, Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, Bareilly – 243122 (UP).
