A walk in interview for filling up the following one temporary position of Senior Research Fellow in a DBT funded project (Project Code: 24-266/T4-1131) entitled “Characterization of Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae strains from North-west and -eastern regions for genetic screening of Xop like effectors to investigate its role as virulence determinants to induce blight in rice” in the Division of Plant Pathology, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi- 110012 on 8h August 2013 at 10.00 AM.

Senior Research Fellow

@ Rs. 16000 for two years and Rs. 18000 in the third year +HRA 30%

MSc in Plant Pathology/Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Botany/any branches in Plant Sciences as major NET/GATE qualified candidates with research experiences in Molecular biology with special reference to Real Time PCR, cloning, transformation, designing gene constructs, protein expression studies, and bioinformatics

Duration: Post is available upto 14.12.2014

Age limit: 35 years

Candidates fulfilling all the requirements should bring their application giving full details of academic records and experience along with attested photocopies as well as original copies of relevant documents and passport size photograph.

Application format: Name of candidate, father’s name, date of birth, present and permanent address, Gen/ OBC/ ST/ SC, qualification details with percentage of marks from matriculation/ high School, research experience, self declaration regarding truthfulness in application, signature with date.

Terms and conditions:

1. Above positions are purely temporary time bond and co- terminable with the project.
2. Age relaxation will be 5 years for Sc/ ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview.
4. All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before schedule time on the date of interview for necessaries formalities.
5. No objection certificate from the employer/ university, in case he/ she is in employment elsewhere.
6. Place of work will be IARI, New Delhi.
7. Canvassing in any form will be disqualify the candidates.
8. The Principal Investigator decision will be final and binding in all respects.
