Essential Qualifications: MSc/MTech-Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life sciences/Plant Pathology with good academic records.
Preference: At least one or two years experience in Molecular Biology techniques (DNA isolation, PCR, cloning, DNA sequencing, RT-PCR, Knowledge on Bioinformatics tools). pre-PhD qualified candidates, CSIR/UGC/ICMR - JRF/ NET/LS qualified will be given preference.
Area of research: The project aims to develop RT-PCR based molecular diagnostic tools for plant pathogens. Age: Below 28 years as on May 2013. Emoluments: Rs.12, 000/-Duration: Initially for 2 year, can be extendable based on the performance of the candidate and availability of funds.
