Aim: Bio-EGICORE, Dept. of Life-Sciences, EGICORE in collaboration with Dept. of Bioengineering, Faculty of Engineering, Integral University, Lucknow is organizing the "1st National Workshop on Computer Aided Drug Designing " (1^st-NW-CADD-2013), to be held, from Nov, 09th to 10th 2013, in Integral University Campus, on the outskirt of the beautiful city of Lucknow, in U.P. India.

Ligand/structure based drug design, in-silico ADME - Tox and metabolism, QSAR Studies, simulation studies, design and screening of virtual libraries, chemo informatics/bioinformatics and synthetic feasibility. These topics will be covered by both methods lectures and the exercises through practical case studies. The goal of the working sessions is to create an environment that is similar to what happens inside pharmaceutical Companies today.

The team's work will be focused on rational design and will include writing reports, project status reviews, and planning events of real-life research teams, as well as in-depth work with appropriate software.

Who can apply?

Graduate/ post-graduate students, professionals, faculties from Organic chemistry, Pharmacy, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Agrochemical, Microbiology, Chemical ,life sciences etc from Industries and institutions will benefit the most from getting hands-on experience.
