The Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati, is an
autonomous R&D Institute under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of
India. The Institute is engaged in frontier areas of research in the specific domain of
Physical, Chemical, Mathematical and Biological Sciences.

Tenure: Initially for up to one year (extendable as per norms). The approved duration of the
project is 5 years. Extension may be granted after review of the work done. However, the
position is terminus at any point in time.
