A ‘Walk in Interview’ will be held on 24/09/2013 (Tuesday) at 10.00 AM in the
Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MBBT) Tezpur University to fill up one (01) vacancy in a DBT sponsored project entitled “Establishment of Institutional Level Biotech Hubs (IBThubs)” in the the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MBBT) Tezpur University.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Qualification: Candidate must possess M.Sc Degree in Microbiology/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/M. Pharm from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate for General Category and 55% for SC/ST/OBC and physically challenged candidates.

Desirable: NET/GATE/BINC qualified candidates and/or having post PG Research Experience.

Fellowship : Rs. 16,000.00 (Rupees Sixteen Thousand) only + 10% HRA per month for the first two years (JRF) and Rs. 18,000/(Rupees Eighteen Thousand) only + 10% HRA per month for the third year (SRF) for the NET/GATE/BINC qualified candidate.

Rs. 12,000.00 (Rupees Twelve Thousand) only + 10% HRA per month for the first two years and Rs. 14,000/(Rupees Fourteen Thousand) only + 10% HRA per month for the third year (SRF) for other candidate.

Duration: Appointment will be initially for a period of 01 (One) year, which may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent and coterminus with the project.

Age : Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidate belonging to
SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Challenged applicants.

N.B : No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
