Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow in a BRNS-DAE project.

Title of the project: ‘Genetic transformation of Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) with a radish defensin (Rs-AFP2) gene and evaluation of the transgenic plants for resistance to Fusarium wilt’.

Duration: 3 years.

Qualification: M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 55% of marks; NET qualified candidates are preferred.

Fellowship: Rs 16,000 per month.
