Application are invited on purely temporary basis for the posts [Junior Research Fellow & Lab Assistant] available in the Department of Biochemistry, School of Biological Sciences, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai-625 021, to work in the ICMR sponsored Major Research project entitled "Identification of novel biomarker in cardiac arrhythmia induced rats and its significance on human serum sample" (No 52/13/2011-BMS).

Education Qualification for JRF: First class in M.Sc., Biochemistry/ Biochemical technology/Biotechnology/Genomics /Microbiology or any other discipline relevant to Life science. Candidates must have qualified NET examination conducted by CSIR/UGC/ICMR.

Qualification for Lab Assistant: First class in M.Sc., Biochemistry/Biochemical
technology/ Biotechnology/Genomics /Microbiology or any other discipline relevant to Life science. Preference will be given to the candidates for those who are having NET from UGC/CSIR/ICMR or GATE.

Emolument: JRF-Rs. 16,000+20% HRA p.m

Lab Assistant - Rs.16, 179 p.m( fixed)
