Eligible candidates may appear in Walk-in-interview for the post of Research Associate and Senior Research Fellow in ICAR funded project as follows

National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)

PI: Dr (Mrs.) Jasdeep Padaria

Research Associate (3)

24,000 (PhD holder) / Rs. 23,000 (M.Sc., with more than 2 year research experience) + 30% HRA

Essential: Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology /Life Sciences or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship / Training/ other engagements.

Desirable: work experience in the area of Molecular Biology Techniques preferably in gene isolation, cloning, plant tissue culture and genetic transformation of wheat as evident from published research papers

Senior Research Fellow (1)

Rs. 16,000+ 30% HRA

Essential: M.Sc. in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology / Life Sciences.

Desirable: one year or more working experience in Molecular Biology

Techniques preferably in gene isolation, cloning, plant tissue culture and genetic transformation

Age Limit: 35 years max. (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and woman candidates as per ICAR rules). The post is purely temporary in nature and is co-terminus with the project. The interview will be held on 20.9.2013 from 10.30 am onwards at NRCPB, LBS Building, New Delhi-110012.The candidates must bring four copies of biodata, original certificates, attested photocopies of each of the certificates and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph. No TA/DA would be given for the appearance in interview. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interviews
