WORKSHOP OBJECTIVE

The workshop is the forum for the presentation of technological advances and research results in the fields of Biotechnology and Microbiology. The workshop will bring together leading researcher, engineers and students in the domain of interest across the country. The main objective of the workshop is:-

a) To provide practical Hands-on learning skills in short duration of time.
b) To help students in understanding how Biotechnology and Microbiology are shaping inside an industry/Research.
c) To develop innovation driven skills, which help students to rethink science from practical aspects.
d) To help students in acquiring new skills in Plant Tissue Culture, Basic Molecular Biology techniques, Nanotechnology and Applied Microbiology.

PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS

The national workshop covers broad areas in recent developments in Molecular Biology, Plant Tissue Culture, Nano-technology and Applied Microbiology. Experts in the field of Biotechnology and Microbiology from academia/Industry are invited to present guest lectures.

PARTICIPANTS Research scholars, students, professionals from academia and industry are the anticipated participants. Total number of participants is limited to 150. Therefore, early registration is highly recommended.

ELIGIBILITY FOR STUDENTS Students pursuing B.Sc. in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Biology) are eligible for participation.
