WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Eligible candidates are invited to attend a WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on the following dates at 9.30 A.M. sharp for the following posts on the ad hoc research project entitled “Characterization of Retinal Degeneration in an Obese Rat Model” funded by DBT at this Institute. The essential qualification, experience, consolidated pay and service tenure are as under:

Essential Qualifications  : 1st Class in M.Sc (Biochemistry/ Life Sciences/Nutrition) from any recognized University.

Desirable : Research Experience in the relevant area (diabetic complications, molecular biology, protein structure-function studies, functional foods and animal
experimentation). Knowledge and experience with software’s related to biomedical research are highly desirable.

Age : Not exceeding 30 years as on the date of Advertisement.

Consolidated Pay : Rs.10,000/- p.m. (fixed) without any allowances

Essential Qualifications  : 10th class / S.S.C. passed from any recognized Board.
Desirable : Preference will be given to DMLT candidates and Experience in a research lab with regard to lab keeping, glassware/plastic ware washing, helping in animal studies etc.

Age : Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of Advertisement.

Consolidated Pay : Rs.5,100/-p.m. (Fixed) without any allowances.

Tenure: The tenure of the above posts is six months only. i.e. up-to 31.03.2014.

The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification (from SSC onwards), experience, SC/ST/OBC Community Certificate / PH Certificate along with a photo and set of Photo copies duly attested for attending the Walk-in-Interview. “Candidates belong to SC/ST/OBC category applying for the post earmarked for UNRESERVED Category will not be given age relaxation. However, the age relaxation will be provided only to the posts earmarked for SC/ST/OBC as per GOI Rules”. The persons belonging to Other Backward Category should bring the O.B.C. (Non creamy layer) Certificate issued by the respective concerned Thehsildar/ M.R.O. specifically issued for the purpose of applying for Central Government post not later than three years. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interviews/Written Test. The Selected Candidates will be posted at the National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad; however they are required to undertake touring all over the country from time to time.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: The conditions of employment will be the same as are for the project staff on contract basis. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this Institute. The Director Incharge & Appointing Authority has the right to accept / reject any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
