WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Eligible candidates are invited to attend a WRITTEN TEST/WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on the following dates at 9.30 A.M. sharp for the following posts on the ad hoc research project entitled “Clinical Anthropometric Biochemical component of the annual health survey” The essential qualification, experience, consolidated salary and service tenure are as under. The project is funded by NIHFW. Under any circumstances the Candidates will not be allowed after 9:30 a.m.

Essential qualification First Class B.Sc. in Biochemistry / M.Sc. in Biochemistry from a recognized University OR DMLT with 2-3 years experience especially in work on nutritional surveys or similar research projects.

Consolidated pay Rs.19,500/- p.m. (fixed) without any allowances.

Desirable 1-2 years work experience in a laboratory after the Diploma/ Degree.

Job Description : i) Ensure performance of regular internal QA measures as per protocol by all those who are doing estimation of Hb.

ii) Ensure external Quality Assurance samples are sent as per protocol and Hb estimation done for samples received from other labs and results of all labs compared.

iii) Perform Hb estimation on the samples received.

iv) Indent and Procure consumables as per schedule/as required.
v) Any other job assigned by the Supervisors.

Age : 30 years as on the date of advertisement.

Date of written Test: 25-10-2013 and the Interview will be held on 26-10-2013 (Saturday)

Essential Qualifications : DMLT/B.Sc. in Biochemistry /BMLT from a recognized University/Board.

Consolidated pay : Rs.13,500/- p.m. (fixed) without any allowances.

Desirable : 1 - 2 years work experience in a laboratory after the diploma/ degree. / B.Sc Home Science / M.Sc Home Science/S/N/ANM

Job Description : i) Perform Hb estimation in the samples received

ii) Undertake internal quality assurance tests as per the protocol

iii) Any other job assigned by the Supervisor

Age : 28 years as on the date of advertisement.

Tenure: The Tenure for all the above posts are 8 months and subject to the availability of funds.

The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification (from SSC onwards), experience, SC/ST/OBC Community Certificate / PH Certificate along with a photo and set of Photo copies duly attested for attending the Walk-in-Interview. “Candidates belongs to SC/ST/OBC category applying for the post earmarked for UNRESERVED Category will not be given age relaxation. However, the age relaxation will be provided only to the posts earmarked for SC/ST/OBC & PH as per GOI Rules”. The persons belonging to Other Backward Category should bring the O.B.C. (Non creamy layer) Certificate issued by the respective concerned Thehsildar/ M.R.O. specifically issued for the purpose of applying for Central Government post not later than three years. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interviews/Written Test. The Selected Candidates will be posted at the National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad; however they are required to undertake touring all over the country from time to time.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: The conditions of employment will be the same as are for the project staff on contract basis. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this Institute. The Director Incharge & Appointing Authority has the right to accept / reject any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
