CORRIGENDUM NOTICE
The employment notification published in the University website vide no. WBUAFS/ Estb/ R-2/03 (Pt. II)/ 2266 dated 26.09.2013 is hereby partially modified and replaced as follows : -
West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences invites applications for recruitment from the Indian Nationals for the following posts. The Revised Pay Band and Academic Grade Pay, Qualification both Essential and Desirable are given in details:

Qualifications and age for the Post of Professor:
a)
1. An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification (s) in the concerned/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work, within a minimum of 10 publications as books/ and or research/ policy papers.
2. A minimum ten years of teaching experience in University/ College, and/ or experience in research at the University/ National level institutions/ industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
3. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated teaching learning process.
4. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on ICAR regulation/ UGC’s regulation on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers and other academic staff in Universities and Colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in Higher Education – 2010.
OR
b) An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.
* Candidates for Sl. No. 1 to 10 must possess B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree as basic qualification and should be registered with the State Veterinary Council/ Veterinary Council of India.

D.Q: Good knowledge of the educational system prevalent at the National and International level and familiarity with modern concept of organization and co-ordination of Teaching, Research and Extension Education activities. |

Preference will be given to the candidate having experience of working in the examinations section of University/ Institute etc. |

A crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand) only drawn in favour of ‘WBUAFS’ drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Kolkata should be attached with the application. Complete 7(seven) sets of applications in the given format (Application Form and Self Appraisal Form for API) along with seven sets of self attested copies of testimonials should reach to the Registrar (Actg.) West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences, 68, Kshudiram Bose Sarani, Kolkata – 700 037 within 5 PM on or before 28th October 2013 only by REGISTERED POST with ACKNOWLEDGEMENT DUE/ SPEED POST clearly mentioning the NAME OF THE POST APPLIED FOR in BOLD BLOCK LETTERS on the envelope.
The University reserves all right to alter/modify or cancel any condition/post at any stage without assigning any reasons. Persons already employed should apply through proper channel, an advance copy of the same may be sent directly to the Registrar (Actg.). University has absolute right to cancel the programme of recruitment without any prior notice and without assigning any reason thereof. Applications received after expiry of the last date will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be made. Canvassing in any form and or bringing any influence will be treated as disqualification. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test/interview.
One passport size photograph to be pasted on the space provided at the right upper corner of the application form. Candidates are requested to complete all columns of the Application Form as well as Self Appraisal Form for API. Incomplete application will be summarily rejected.
Submission of No objection Certificate from the employer before interview is mandatory in case of in service candidates.
