Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow for a DBT funded project on 'Design and Development of new generation caspase sensor FRET probe expressing stable cancer cells for anticancer drug screening: From In vitro HTS Screen to whole animal imaging' in Cancer Biology Division at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Post graduation in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry or Life Science with minimum 60% marks and UGC/CSIR/DBT JRF or Lectureship or Inspire Fellowship.
AGE: Below 30 years as on 29th November, 2013.
EMOLUMENTS:
16,000/- + 20% HRA per month for CSIR-JRF or equivalent and 12,000/- + 20% HRA per month for others.
DURATION:
Three year or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier).
Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and will be called for interview. In the event of more than 10 candidates being short-listed by screening the applications, a written test will be conducted before the selection interview.

As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project.
