WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
A walk-in-interview will be held at CENTRAL INSTITUTE FOR SUBTROPICAL HORTICULTURE, at Rae Bareli Road, Telibagh, Lucknow an Institute under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), for selection of Research Associate, Senior Research Fellow, Project Assistant, Office Assistant and Scout as per details given below:
1. DBT Project entitled "Development of National Database on Mango (Project Duration: Up to February 2018)
Date of Interview:11.12 .2013 Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards
Research Associate (One)
For Master Degree 23000/-per month(fixed) + 20% HRA, for PhD.
24000/- per month(fixed) +20% HRA
Essential: Post Graduate/Ph.D. in Horticulture/life Sciences
Desirable: Experience in characterization of mango varieties and knowledge of aspects of mango industry.
Sound working knowledge on computer, database
SRF (One)
Rs. 16000/-per month for 1st and 2nd year Rs. 18000/- per month for 3rd year + 20% HRA
Essential: Master Degree in Bioinformatics
Desirable: Strong working knowledge in php driven Mysql databases for development of modules and data update. Experience on patent, chemical, molecular knowledgebase
2. “Hi-tech Horticulture for Efficient Utilization of Resources through Precision Farming” under Precision Farming Development Centre (PFDC) (Project Duration: Up to March, 2013 and likely to be continue )

Research Associate (One)
For Master Degree(M.Sc.) 23000/-per month(fixed) + 20% HRA, for PhD.
24000/- per month(fixed) +20% HRA
Essential:
1. Post graduate in Horticulture/Agri. Engineering/Soil Science/Botany
2. Experience in relevant field.Desirable:
1. Ph.D. or research experience in relevant subject
2. Knowledge of micro irrigation system.3. Capacity to organize training programme
4. Working knowledge of computer.
3. NAIP project “Understanding the mechanism of off-season flowering and fruiting in mango under different environment conditions.” (Project Duration: Up to March, 2014 or till termination of the project )

SRF (One)
Rs. 16,000/- for Ist and 2nd year Rs. 18000/- per month for 3rd year and 20% HRA per month
Essential: Post Graduate in Horticulture/Plant Physiology/ Botany/ Biotechnology
Desirable qualification: Experience in phenological observations. Working knowledge of computer
5. National DUS Centre for Mango (Project Duration: Up to March 2014 and to be continued)
Date of Interview : 12.12.2013 Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards
SRF (one)
Rs. 16000/- per month for 1st and 2nd year Rs. 18000/- per month for 3rd year + 20% HRA per month
Essential: Post graduate in Horticulture/Plant Physiology/ Botany
Desirable:
1. Experience in morphological characterization in mango2. Working knowledge of Computer
6. Outreach project on “Management of sucking pests of horticultural crops” (Project Duration: Up to 31.3.2014 or termination of the project )

SRF (One)
Rs. 16000/- per month for 1st and 2nd year Rs. 18000/- per month for 3rd year + 20% HRA per month
Essential : M.Sc. (Agriculture Entomology) /Life Science/Zoology in First Division or with 60% marks or equivalent OGPA and specialization in Entomology.
Desirable: Working knowledge of computer and practical experience in mass culturing/ insect toxicology/ molecular entomology in pest of horticultural crops.
7. PPV & FRA project entitled “ Validation of Dus descriptors for Bael (Aegle marmelos Correa)” (Project Duration: (likely continue three years ) Up to March, 2015 )

SRF (One)
Rs. 16000/- per month (fixed) +20% HRA
Essential: M.Sc./ M.Sc. (Ag.) in Horticulture/ Botany/Biochemistry with experience in biochemical analysis of fruits.
Desirable: Good knowledge of computer particularly working with software like MS Office, Excel, Power point and Adob photo shops etc.
Age Limit :
For Research Associate : 40 years for male and 45 years for female candidates.
For Senior Research Fellow, and Scout: 35 years for male and 40 years for female candidates.
For Technical Assistant 18 to 35 years for male and Female.
Note : Age will be calculated as on the date of interview. Relaxation of age admissible for SC/ST/ OBC candidates as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules
1. Candidates should bring his/her bio-data original certificates supporting educational qualifications and experience. Photocopies of certificates, a latest passport size photograph at the time of interview.
2. The above-mentioned positions are purely on contract basis and co-terminus with the project. The person recruited will not have any claims for absorption in any capacity after the termination of the project.
3. No T.A./D.A. will be paid to candidates for attending the interview.
