SRF for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year
Essential: M.Sc. in Entomology/ Zoology (with Entomology)/ Life Sciences
Desirable: Experience in Entomology, knowledge of Computer, and NET or equivalent like GATE qualified
JRF for 1st and 2nd year and SRF for 3rd year
Essential: M.Sc. in Entomology/ Zoology (with Entomology)/ Life Sciences
Desirable: Experience in field and laboratory based research in Entomology, knowledge of Computer, and NET or equivalent like GATE qualified
Lab Assistant
Essential: Ist Class B.Sc. in Zoology/ Life Sciences (for Lab Assistant Level II)
Desirable: Experience in handling of laboratory equipments, and rearing and maintenance of animals especially the insects
Terms and Conditions:
1. Age limit: 35 years (Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST/ and women candidate as per govt. guidelines) for SRF and JRF; and 28 years for Lab Assistant (Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST/ and women candidate as per Govt./ICAR guidelines). 2. The total duration of project is 3 years and the positions are purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. The renewal of yearly contract is subjected to the satisfactory performance.
3. Eligible candidates may come for the walk-in-interview on 10 January, 2014 at 10.00 AM with two copies of their bio-data, two passport size photographs and one set of attested copies of their certificates/marksheets/experience proof. Bring original certificates for verification at the time of interview.
4. The Interview of eligible candidates will be held in the Division of Entomology, IARI, PUSA Campus, New Delhi on 10 January, 2014 at 10.00 A.M.
