WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR PROJECT POSITIONS

Eligible candidates may appear in Walk-in-Interview on January 18, 2014 at 10:00 AM to be held at the Board Room, NRCPB, LBS Building, Pusa Campus, IARI, New Delhi-110012 for the following posts in DST funded project.

Indo-Australian project on, “Crop plants which remove their own major biotic stress

Senior Research Fellow (1 No.)

Rs.18,000/- p.m.+30% HRA or based on qualification & as per rules

The candidate should have M.Sc. or M. Tech degree with thesis in any branch of life science/biology and 2 years of Post-M.Sc./M.Tech research experience as evidenced by publications in peer-review research journals.

Other qualification: Followings are desirable qualifications which will be used to shortlist the applications.

1) CSIR NET/LS qualification
2) Experiences in plant molecular biology especially with Arabidopsis and Indian mustard

Project Assistant (1 No.)

Rs. 8000/-p.m. fixed

Candidates must have passed intermediate (12th Standard). Candidate with prior experience in any research lab and in field work will be given preference.

The positions are available immediately and upto 22-03-2016. Appointed persons will be expected to stay in the lab for the entire period of the project. However, the initial appointment will be given only for one year and may be extended in subsequent years upon successful progress.

Age limit: Max.35 years (Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST & women and 3 years for OBC). The posts are purely temporary in nature and are co-terminus with the project. The candidates must bring four copies of biodata (in the prescribed proforma), original certificates, attested photocopies of each of the certificates and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph. No. TA/DA would be given for the appearance in interview. Short listing of candidates based on academic merit and experience or through written test will be done in case of large number of applicants.
