Applications are invited for temporary positions under projects operated in the Center for Nanobioscience.

{A} Senior Research Fellow (1 post) under ICAR Project `Enhancing use efficiency of micronutrients: Noved delivery systems' (SP-211, up to May 2017) and

{B} Junior Research Fellow: 1 Post under ARI Project– 'RNAi for insect control' [NBS-03 (One Post) ] up to March 2014 and 2 posts under DBT Project – 'Developing rapid diagnostics for the detection of Aspergillosis' [SP-213] up to August 2015.

Qualifications: Essential: {A} SRF (SP-211): 1st class M.Sc. in Agriculture with 2 years experience as JRF.

Desirable:

Experience in Agronomy/Plant Molecular Biology. {B} JRF: Essential: (i) 1st class M.Sc., (ii) Clearance of CSIR-UGC/NET. Subjects for M.Sc. for (a) NBS-03 – Biotechnology/Microbiology & for (b) SP-213-Biochemistry/Microbiology/Medical Microbiology. Desirable: (a) NBS-03 - Experience in molecular biology and (b) SP-213 - Experience in protein purification. Stipend: SRF-Rs.14000/- (fixed) + HRA, JRF- Rs.12000/- (Fixed) + HRA p.m.. In case of non-availability of qualified SRF/JRF, position/s may filled at lower grade/s of JRF (with essential qual. as above) or as Research Student with M.Sc. degree with at least 55% marks in the above subjects, on stipend @ Rs.11000/- (fixed) p.m. General conditions: (1) Age limit SRF-32 years, JRF-28 years, (relaxable by 3 years for OBC & 5 years for SC/ST and female candidates. (2) Eligible candidates may apply in the prescribed format available on the Institute’s website http://www.aripune.org., along with self -attested copies of qualifications, certificates, Passport size photograph, caste certificate issued by competent authority (for reserved category) and D.D. of Rs.50/- in favor of ARI, Pune up to 23.01.2014. (3) The Institute may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience. (4) Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for the post. (5) No interim enquiries will be entertained.
