The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) is an autonomous Institute of National Importance set up by the Government of India, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers by an Act of Parliament, to impart higher education and undertake advanced research in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Technology and Management. The Institute intends to fill the following posts:
6. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT – (ANIMAL HOUSE)
Pay structure: Pay Band-2 (Rs.9300-34800/-) plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- and other allowances at par with Central Government pay and allowances.
No. of posts: 01 (reserved for OTHER BACKWARD CLASS (OBC) category)
Educational Qualification & Experience: B.Sc. with three years’ experience in animal house operations. OR
B.V.Sc. / M.Sc.
Note: Qualification and experience required for the said post should be in the relevant Field/Area/Deptt./Centre/Facility for which the post has been advertised.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates possessing B.V.Sc./M.V.Sc. / M.Sc. with not less than 55% marks with five years experience in animal house operations and animal breeding. OR
Ph.D with two years experience in animal house operations and animal breeding.
Maximum age limit: 35 years
7. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT – (CENTRAL INSTRUMENTAL LAB)
Pay structure: Pay Band-2 (Rs.9300-34800/-) plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- and other allowances at par with Central Government pay and allowances.
No. of posts: 01 (reserved for SCHEDULED CASTE (SC) category)
Educational Qualification & Experience: Certificate in instrumentation with ten years experience in handling/operating spectroscopic instruments. OR
Diploma (Instrumentation) with five years experience in handling/operating spectroscopic instruments. OR
B.Sc. with two years experience in handling/operating spectroscopic instruments OR
M.Sc. in Instrumentation / Analytical Chemistry.
Maximum age limit: 35 years
8. JUNIOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT – (CENTRAL INSTRUMENTAL LAB)
Pay structure: Pay Band-1 (Rs.5200-20200/-) plus Grade Pay of Rs.2400/- and other allowances at par with Central Government pay and allowances.
No. of posts: 02 (one reserved for OTHER BACKWARD CLASS (OBC) category and one reserved for SCHEDULED TRIBE (ST) category)
Educational Qualification & Experience: Bachelor degree in appropriate field. Proficiency in working of computers.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates possessing two years experience in research / teaching laboratory.
