Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate (01) @ 24,000/- pm + HRA and Animal Attendant (01) @ 8,528/- pm fixed in a LSRB-DRDO sponsored project entitled “Role of nitric oxide (NO) in ischemia/aglycemia-induced depression of spinal synaptic transmission” sanctioned up to 3 years. The post is temporarily and co-terminus with the project.
Candidates for Research Associate position should hold Ph.D. or equivalent degree and M.Sc. in Life Sciences (Zoology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Physiology) with at least 60% marks and experience in recording of extracellular potential.
Desirable: At least 2 National/International publications appearing in pubmed.
Animal Attendant should have Intermediate Science with 2-3 years experience in laboratory work or B.Sc. Experience in Handling, Care and Breeding of laboratory will be preferred.
The upper age limit, 45 years for Research Associate and 30 years for Animal Attendant (relaxable up to 5 years for female/SC/ST/physically handicapped candidates). All things being equal, SC/ST/OBC candidates will preferred as per GOI rules.
