Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs. 200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. along with attested copies of certificates for Two position of Junior Research Fellows provided in the scheme "DBT Programme Support for Research & Development in Agricultural Biotechnology" CSS-12 (PC-6007) Sub-Project-1 "Consolidating components of heat tolerance in high yielding wheat through multiparent crosses and doubled haploid production" and sub Project-2 "Association Analysis of heat tolerance and yield components in T. durum - Ae. speltoides Chromosome segment substitution lines (CSSLs)" @ Rs.l4,000/- per month fixed +HRA 20%( Junior Research Fellowhship) for a period of six months or till the tem1ination of the scheme which ever is earlier.
For the positions of Junior Research Fellows:
(1) B.Sc. with second division i.e. at least 50% marks.
(2) M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Plant Breeding, Genetics & Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Biochemistry/Botany/ Horticulture/Plant Pathology/Entomology, with at least 6.50/10.00 OCPA or 65% marks.
The last date for the receipt of applications (duly completed in all respects) in this office is 22/01/2014. Incomplete application or unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained.
The candidate should appear for interview on 27/0/2014 at 10.30 A.M. in the office of the undersigned.
