Minimum qualification: MSc in any branch of life sciences

This position offers a unique opportunity to participate in research in the area of human molecular genetics. On the job, the researcher can learn how to apply molecular biology techniques (such as genomic DNA isolation, PCR and DNA sequencing). The project involves identification of mutations causing various single gene disorders. Computational tools would also be used to analyse the results.

The project is funded by Ministry of Science and Technology.

Candidates keen about research in human disease biology are welcome to apply.

Those with research experience, and/ or high scores on the NET or GATE exams would be preferred. Travelling allowance is not available for attending interview.
