Applications are invited for the post of a Project assistant in the Department of Science and technology (SERB-DST-FTYS), Government of India-sponsored project entitled “In planta analysis of somatic mutation rates upon bacterial infection and identifying factors involved in alteration and/or protection of host genome.”

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements for the post Master of Science in any subject under Life Science (Plant Science/ Botany/ Biochemistry/ Agriculture/ Genomics/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology etc).
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in plant molecular biology.
(A) The post is purely temporary and initially only for a period of ONE year but
extendable till the completion of the project upon assessment of the performance of the candidate.
(B) Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and selection will be made as per the DST and the Central University of Kerala rules.
(C) The applicants should carry all original certificates at the time of attending the
interview.
(D) Age limit up to 28 year as per project terms and conditions.
Note: The selected candidate is expected to register for Ph.D. after getting eligibility as per the Ph.D. Regulations of the Central University of Kerala
