Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate on a purely temporary basis in a CSIR sponsored project entitled "Cloning, expression and functional analysis of the STRAP protein from Dictyostelium discoideum".

The essential qualifications required are as follows:
Research Associateship: Candidate must have a PhD degree in any field of Life Sciences.
The post is initially for a period of one year and maybe extendable by another two years depending on the progress of the candidate. It will co-terminate with the project.
The fellowship terms and conditions will be as per CSIR guidelines.

Applications are invited for 1 post of RA in the DBT funded project entitled RICEFUEL: Engineering enzymes, bacteria and Bioconversion processes for advanced Biofuels from waste grain straw".
The work will principally involve molecular cloning, fermentation and bioreactor data analysis. The position is temporary and available until (till the end of the project December 2016), but the appointments shall be initially for a period of one year, renewable every year depending on the performance of project staff
Essential Qualifications: PhD in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc with experience in molecular biology, fermentation, gene expression and purification.
Desirable Qualifications: PhD in Metabolic Engineering/Bioprocess technology with working experience of Molecular Biology techniques, gene knock-in, knock–out strategies, Transcriptomic and proteomic profiling, Process analytical techniques (PAT) Platform with online monitoring of bioprocess, mathematical modeling and data processing related to bioprocesses

Applications are invited for one Junior or Senior Research Fellow (JRF or SRF) in DBT funded (BUILDER) project entitled "Studies on neuro-protective function of SG2NA". The Project is expected to continue till June, 2015.
The position is temporary and is co-terminus with the project. Salary and other emoluments will be as per DBT rules.
Essential qualifications:
a. Post Graduate degree in Life Sciences/Zoology/Biotechnology/Biosciences or allied subjects.
b. CSIR/UGC NET qualified.
c. At least one year (for JRF) or two year (for SRF) research experience in studying protein-protein interaction using cell, molecular biology and biophysics based techniques.
