Walk-in interview for a Senior Research Fellow position in a research project funded jointly by the Max-Planck Society, Germany and Department of Science and Technology, India

Date of Walk-in Interview: 10 February 2014, 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

Title: Study of regulation of RNA splicing by ubiquitin-like modifiers

Outline of the project: The project aims to understand role of ubiquitin-related modifiers in regulation of RNA splicing. For this question we will utilize experimental approaches in Molecular Biology, Yeast genetics and Biochemistry.

Positions: 1

Duration: 1 Year (extendable)

Emoluments: As per DST rules

Essential Qualifications: Masters in any branch of Life Sciences with good academic record and a minimum of three years research experience working with project(s) involving molecular biology, genetics and biochemistry in yeasts Sachharomyces cerevisiae/Schizosachharomyces pombe.
