1. Assessment of genetic diversity of basmati rice using molecular markers and in situ conservation through participatory approach
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
i) Rs. 16000/-PM + HRA for 1st and 2nd year ii) Rs. 18000/-PM + HRA for 3rd year
M. Sc. Biotechnology/Molecular Biology
1. Ph.D. in concerned subject
2. NET/GATE
3. Knowledge of computer applications
Terms and Conditions for projects are as under:-
I. The candidates shall have no legal right to claim his/her regularization/appointment by absorption or otherwise against any regular post or a
II. Any further contractual engagement as the scheme is purely time bound, non-regular and co-terminus basis with the scheme/project. The services of the incumbent shall stand terminated automatically on expiry of the period of the project.
The application should reach the office of Coordinator, School of Biotechnology, SKUAST-J, Chatha, Jammu-180009 (J&K) along with attested copies of the certificates on or before 30.01.2014.
These positions are purely temporary to be filled initially for a period of six months or till life of the project, further extension of six months each shall be granted on the basis of performance of the appointee. The engagement stands terminated on the completion of the projects with no claim on the permanent absorption in this University. Only eligible candidates will be candidates will be informed about the date, time and venue of interview later on. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
