Walk in Interview
Applications are invited for the post of one Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in NMPB funded project at Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana, Punjab. The appointment will be purely temporary under contractual and co-terminus basis. The appointments may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reason thereof.

1. Senior Research Fellow
a) Essential M.Sc. First class in Biotechnology / Genetics/ Molecular Biology & Biotechnology or other relevant Life Science with some relevant research experience
b) Desirable
NET/ GATE qualified
Two years of research experience and specialization in molecular techniques/ molecular marker identification and development.
iii) Remuneration Rs. 16000/- p.m. + 20% HRA
iv) Age limit 30 years (with relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC as per existing rules)

Terms and Conditions:
i) The SRF post is purely for a temporary engagement on ad-hoc basis co-terminus
with the project. The appointment may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reason thereof. This temporary engagement is only project related and will in no way confer any entitlement for claiming a permanent post/appointment/absorption/ re-employment in institute/ICAR/ NMPB.
ii) The upper age limit for SRF shall be 30 years; age relaxation to the SC/ST & OBC candidates as per rule.
iii) Place of work will be CIPHET, Ludhiana.
iv) No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in Interview.
v) All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of Interview for necessary formalities.
vi) The applicants must bring with them original documents and a brief of research work carried out during post-graduation degree along with one set of photocopy at the time of interview.
vii) No objection certificate from the Employer/University, in case he/she is in employment elsewhere/doing Ph.D.
viii) Experience certificate in original (if any)
