WALK IN INTERVIEW
A walk in interview is scheduled at Veterinary Biotechnology Division of the Institute on 22-4-2014 at 10.30AM for engagement of one Junior Research Fellow(JRF) in DBT funded project entitled, “Development of prophylactic as well as therapeutic DNA vaccine for canine mammary cancer”. The appointment is purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. There will be no provision of absorption/reemployment in IVRI/DBT on termination of the project. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview and no separate letter will be issued.
Duration of the project: Till 24-1-2015 or termination of project.
Essential Qualifications: MVSc/MSc Biotechnology/biochemistry/ microbiology/life science or relevant basic sciences/MTech Biotechnology. Candidates with graduate degree in professional courses with NET/GATE or equivalent qualification are also eligible.
Desirable: NET/GATE or equivalent qualification and research experience of molecular biology and cell culture techniques such as gene cloning and expression in prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, primary culture, maintenance of cell lines, handling laboratory animals, collection of blood from laboratory animals, working
knowledge of instruments such as PCR, Real time PCR, FACS etc.
Emoluments: 12,000-18000 pm as per educational qualifications. (As per DST Office memorandum No.A.20020/11/97-IFD, dated 31st March, 2010)
Age limit: 35 years (relaxation for women and SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms).
Candidates attending interview should bring a copy of biodata, original certificates and marksheets and two passport size photographs. The applicants may submit copy of their biodata in advance by post or by mail.
