Walk-in-Interview will be held on 06th May 2014 at 12.00 Noon in the Seminar Room of Plant Biology Division at Centenary Campus of Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kolkata- 700054 for one position of Research Associate / Senior Research Fellow (Extended) in the I.C.A.R (NFBSFARA) sponsored sub-project entitled, “Development of pod borer resistant transgenic pigeonpea and chickpea” under the guidance of Prof. Sampa Das, Division of Plant Biology. The project is tenable upto 31.12.2016.
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. & Ph.D degree in Plant Science for Research Associate position. Candidates those who have submitted their Ph.D. theses may apply for SRF (Extended) position.
Desirable Qualification: Research experience in Plant Molecular Biology and Plant transformation.
Associateship / Fellowship: For R.A- Rs. 22,000/- p.m., plus admissible H.R.A. and
Medical benefit.
For SRF (Extended) - Rs. 20,000/- p.m., plus admissible H.R.A. and Medical benefit.
Age : For R.A- Below 35 years
For SRF (Extended) - Below 33 years
(Relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
Interested and eligible candidates should appear before the Selection Committee with a typed application addressed to the Registrar, Bose Institute, P-1/12, CIT Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata-700054 along with Bio-data giving details of qualification i.e. examination passed, year, division, percentage of marks from Secondary onwards with attested copies of Certificates, Mark-Sheet and testimonials. The candidates should also bring the original marksheets, certificates etc. at the time of Interview. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing at the Interview.
