Appointment of a Junior Research Fellow for a research project funded by the National Tea Research Foundation (NTRF) in the Dept of Physiology, University of Calcutta A walk in interview will be held for the selection of one Junior Research Fellow for a research project entitled “Effect of water extract of black tea on the cognitive functions and some immune responses in a cohort study of Alzheimer’s patients’’ and funded by the National tea Research Foundation (NTRF), on 23rd May, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the office of the Secretary, Faculty Council for PG Studies in Science, University College of Science, 92 APC Road, Kolkata 700009. The research project will be conducted for the duration of 2 years under PI, Prof. Tusharkanti Ghosh, Department of Physiology, University of Calcutta.
Required qualification: First class M.Sc in Physiology/Zoology/ Neuroscience from a recognized University. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in stereotaxic technique, animal behavior and rat electrophysiology.
Remuneration: Rs. 16,000/- p.m. + 15% HRA = Rs 18400/ p.m.
The candidate should bring two separate sets of complete application furnishing bio-data on plain paper along with attested copies of testimonials on the date of the interview. The original certificates and mark sheets are to be presented before the Selection Committee on the day of interview.
