Applications are invited for the award of one Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Biological Sciences on consolidated fellowship of Rs 12,000/- per month under DBT funded project entitled “Evaluation of role of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and PGPRs from diverse ecosystem of North East and Uttarakhand state of India from organic production of citrus and chilli”. Applicants possessing following qualification should apply on plain paper on the prescribed proforma given as under to Dr. A.K. Sharma, Project Leader, Deptt. Biological Sciences, College of Basic Sciences & Humanities, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar – 263145, US Nagar, UA latest by 14.06.14. Candidates fulfilling the qualification should appear for the interview on 16th June, 2014 at 11.00AM in the office of Project Leader. The seat is reserved for OBC candidate, however in case candidate is not found, this will be filled with general candidate. No separate interview letter will be issued and no TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview.
Qualifications
Junior Research Fellow M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Microbiology//Botany/Life Science
Experience in handling bacteria and fungi and also in molecular techniques (Desirable)
