Applications on plain paper are invited for a post of Research Associate for Department of Biotechnology; Govt. of India funded Indo-Denmark Collaborative Project on “High Rate Algal Biomass Production for Food, Feed, Biochemicals and Biofuels” on a purely temporary and time bound basis. The details are as follows:

Name of position (No.): Research Associate (One)

Emoluments: Rs. 22000/-pm plus HRA (30%)

*Age limit: 40 years

Educational Qualifications:

Essential: Ph. D. in Botany/Microbiology/Agricultural Microbiology/Biosciences/Life
Sciences/Biotechnology with specialization in algae Desirable: Experience in algal taxonomy, isolation, cultivation, mass production and computer knowledge

*1. Age relaxable by five years for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-servicemen/woman candidates as per Govt. of India instructions
2. The above positions will be till 31st August,2014 or till the termination of project whichever is earlier. The selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointment at this institute as the position is co-terminus with the project.
3. Date of interview: The eligible candidates may come for interview at 10.00 AM till 1.00 PM on 5th June, 2014 along with an application addressed to Principal Investigator and the testimonials (originals with one set of attested copies) for verification in the office of CCUBGA, Division of Microbiology, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi-110012. 4. No separate letters will be issued. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Only those meeting the eligibility will be interviewed.
