Research Associate (1 position)

Essential: M.Sc. Microbiology/Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks.
Desirable: Two or more years experience in the area of Next Generation Sequencing, analysis of Next Gen Sequencing Data using different bioinformatics software, gene cloning and expression
2. “Biomolecules and industrially important enzymes from extremophilic bacteria”.
Senior Research Fellow (1 position)
Rs. 16,000/- + 30% HRA
Essential: M.Sc. Microbiology / Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks.
Desirable: Experience in Gene cloning & expression, fermentation and enzyme kinetics
3. “Prospecting the potential of cyanobacteria based formulations as plant growth promoting and biocontrol agents in cereal-legume cropping system and selected vegetables”
Senior Research Fellow (2 position)
Rs. 16,000/- + 30% HRA
Essential: M.Sc. Microbiology / Applied Microbiology / Biotechnology (specialization in Plant – Microbe interactions with minimum 60% marks.
Desirable: Experience of field work and soil/plant/ microbiological analyses. Good knowledge of computers and MS Office.
Preference would be given to NET/GATE qualified candidates
4. “Metagenomics and cultural approaches for identification of novel microbial genes/alleles and microbes for bioconversion of lignocellulosic biomass at extreme physiological conditions of low temperature.

Essential: M.Sc. Microbiology/Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks.
Desirable: Experience in Metagenomics, gene isolation, cloning and expression, hydrolytic enzyme production for biomass degradation etc.
