Prof. C.N.R. Rao Award for excellence in Scientific Research for 2013-14
Applications are again invited from the Faculty members & Scientists of various disciplines of pure & applied science/basic/agricultural/ engineering sciences of Banaras Hindu University for “Prof. C.N.R. Rao Award for achieving Excellence in Research” related to any area of basic/agricultural/engineering. The award carries a sum of Rs.15,000/- and a Certificate. The eligibility conditions related to the award are as follows:
• The applicant should be a member of at least one of the National Science/Agricultural/Engineering/Academy or he/she should be winner of any Gazetted National Award.
• The interested Scientist may apply giving the following:
(a) Brief Academic Profile
(b) Total Number of publications including research papers, review articles and books.
(c) The details of paper (journal, year, volume and page number) of the last five years be provided separately as Annexure.
The total write-up should not exceed three pages. Gazetted National Awards, Honours, fellowship of National Academics and other relevant details be also provided.
The applications forwarded by Head of the Department be submitted to the Office of the Dy. Registrar (Development) latest by 30.06.2014.
