DRILS Fellowship Program for Innovation in Life Sciences

Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences (DRILS), Hyderabad has created DRILS Fellowship Program for Innovation in Integrated Disciplines of Chemistry and Biology, to identify and foster exceptional scientists to pursue innovation in areas of significant pharmaceutical interest.

This is an Initiative designed for development of talent pool for emerging R&D needs of Pharma / Life Science industries.

The Institute invites applications from qualified young scientists for multiple positions in
Process Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry and Disease Biology:

DRILS Research Fellowship: Meritorious M.Sc / M.Tech level scientists from reputed universities with/without industrial experience may apply for the two year fellowship program for training in advanced areas of basic / applied research in chemistry / biology.

Details & Eligibility:
• DRILS Research Fellowship is a full-time, contractual, research associate position for qualified young scientists to carry out in-house research at DRILS.

The duration is for 2 years, extendable up to one more year on the basis of performance. The Fellowship does not imply any commitment regarding any other position at DRILS.
• Educational Qualification: M.Sc or M.Tech degree in Biology (any subject of Life Sciences) / Chemistry (preferably Organic Synthesis or Process Chemistry) from reputed Universities.
• Preferred candidate profile: Desire to be trained in interdisciplinary research along with enhancing practical experience in R&D projects, preferably industrydriven research; ability to apply specific knowledge in other areas of research; understanding of the relevance of research in the Pharma and Life Sciences industries. Excellent communication skills.

• Fellowship: INR 15,000/- to 20,000/- per month
