JRF/SRF Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis
Applications are invited from qualified individuals for a temporary Junior or Senior Research Fellow (JRF/SRF) position, sponsored by the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB‐DBT) project dealing with cell signaling and chromatin dynamics during cellular differentiation (NIAB/CP/107/2012).

Our laboratory is investigating the dynamics of 3D genome organization and gene expression upon extra cellular signalling utilizing a combination of genetic, molecular and computational approaches in association with high throughput sequencing based chromatin structure analyzing methods. Successful candidate shall pursue project related to computational analysis of genome and epigenome data derived from mouse primary epithelial cell line model system.
Applicants should have M.Sc/Integrated M.Sc. in any branch of Biological sciences (JRF) with 2 years of experience (SRF) or M.Tech in Biotechnology or Bioinformatics (SRF) with experience in Computational biology, bioinformatics, statistics, machine learning and algorithmic development is required. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. C, C++, Perl, Python, Ruby etc.) and statistical framework (e.g. R, matlab, etc.) is preferable. Basic understanding of molecular biology will be an added advantage.
