Golden Opportunity for CSIR-UGC NET Qualified Candidates
CSIR – URDIP is now launching for the first time in the country a one year full time postgraduate diploma course in the field of Patinformatics. The course has been designed to train the candidates in the art of patent searching, reading and analysis for the purpose of creating patent landscapes, identifying research gaps, competitive intelligence, new venture evaluation, patent portfolio management and techno-legal studies (Patentability, Validity, Infringement and Freedom to operate). The course modules are designed to include a blend of class room teaching and hands on training on live projects of different types. On successful completion of the program the candidates will be awarded “Post-Graduate Diploma in Patinformatics” by the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), a university established by an act of the Parliament. The young professionals trained in this discipline will find growing job opportunities in Corporate Planning, Business Development, IP and R&D Management functions as well as in Law firms, Consultancy companies and other Knowledge processing organizations.
The admission to above course was based on the written test and the interview. The admission committee has decided to waive the requirement of written test for the candidates with a 1st Class in Masters Degree in Science/ 1st Class BE or B.Tech degree in Engineering and who have qualified the CSIR-UGC NET examination (JRF/LS) in 2013.
