Walk in Interview for Project Assistants Level - II: 1 Post on July 16, 2014

CSIR-CSMCRI Marine Algal Research Station has been pioneer in developing seaweed farming technologies in the country. It has also commercialized many cultivation technologies impacting the social up-liftment of coastal communities. As a part of its endeavour to demonstrate cultivation technology, through GOMBRT sponsored project entitled Farming of Gelidiella acerosa- Demonstration of improved methods of cultivation to the fisher folk the field station would like to invite applications from young and dynamic candidates for following position to work.

Qualifications: M.Sc. Botany / Marine Biology / Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/ Marine Studies and Coastal Resource Management with minimum 55% marks.

Fellowship (consolidated): Rs. 12,000/-

Age:28 years as on date of interview (age relaxation as per CSIR rule).

Job description : The selected candidate shall be working on field cultivation of Gelidiella acerosa in the sea; seeding, maintenance and expansion of cultivation

Project duration : 2 Years
