A walk-in-interview will be held at CENTRAL INSTITUTE FOR SUBTROPICAL HORTICULTURE, at Rae Bareli Road, Telibagh, Lucknow an Institute under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), for selection of Senior Research Fellow and Scout as per details given below:
1. NICRA Project entitled -“Understanding the changes in host-pest interactions and dynamics in mango under climate change scenario”(Project Duration: Project period up to the end of 12th Plan or termination of project )

Scouts (One)
Rs. 8000/- per month (Fixed)
Essential : Agriculture/ Science Graduate from a recognized University.
Desirable :
Working experience in field.
2. Developing enzyme catalyzed-microbe mediated processes for biofuel from mango waste (peel and kernel), under AMAAS,(Project Duration: Up to March, 2017 or termination of the project )

SRF (One)
Rs. 16000/-per month for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 18000/- per month for 3rd year + 20% HRA
Essential:
1. Post graduate in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks.
Desirable:
Experience in fermentation technology, biofuel production, waste utilization, enzyme production.
3. DBT Project entitled "Development of National Database on Mango (Project Duration: Up to February 2018)
Date of Interview: 22.8.2014
Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards
SRF (One)
Rs. 16000/-per month for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 18000/- per month for 3rd year + 20% HRA
Essential: Post graduate in life science/IT
Desirable: Working knowledge of computer and bioinformatics softwares
4. ICAR Networking Project on "Transgenics in Crops" (Project Duration: Up to March, 2015)
Date of Interview: 22.8.2014
Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards
SRF (One)
Rs. 16000/-per month for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 18000/- per month for 3rd year + 20% HRA
Essential: Post graduate in Biotechnology/Life science with minimum 60% marks
Desirable:
1. Experience in genetic transformation, molecular diagnostic.
2. NET 3. Good knowledge of computer
Age Limit :
For Senior Research Fellow : 35 years for male and 40 years for female candidates.
For Scot: Below 30 years
Note : Age will be calculated as on the date of interview. Relaxation of age admissible for SC/ST/ OBC candidates as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules
1. Candidates should bring his/her bio-data original certificates supporting educational qualifications and experience. Photocopies of certificates, a latest passport size photograph at the time of interview.
2. The above-mentioned position are purely on contract basis and co-terminus with the project. The person recruited will not have any claims for absorption in any capacity after the termination of the project.
3. T.A./D.A. will not be paid to candidates for attending the interview.
