WALK IN INTERVIEW
The National Centre for Antarctic & Ocean Research (NCAOR), an autonomous society under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India is looking for prospective candidates for filling up the position of Junior Research Fellows at NCAOR under different projects. The positions are purely temporary and on a project mode initially for a period of one year. Candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility conditions are invited to attend a walk-in-interview at NCAOR on 04.09.2014 (Thursday).
1 Cryospher and Climate
Essential: Masters degree in Biological Sciences / Earth System Sciences or equivalent, from recognized University with atleast 60% marks or equivalent GPA.
Desirable: CSIR-UGC (NET) / INSPIRE qualification. Laboratory experience in microbiology / hydrochemistry; and Field experience in polar / oceanic regions
To conduct research on biogeochemical processes in supra-glacial ecosystems
