WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Eligible and interested candidates can appear for the walk-in-interview in the Dept. of Life Science of the Institute on 16.09.2014 at 10.00 A.M. for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project to carry out research work, experiments and analysis.

1. Name of the Temporary Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 01

2. Name of the Research Project : Integrating Polymorphisms and NGS in dissecting complex networks of miRNA-mediated regulation in neurodegenerative diseases

3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency : Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Dept. of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India

4 Tenure of the Project : 03 Years

5 Tenure of the Assignment : 01 Year and likely to be extended

6 Job Description : To carry out research work

7. Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship : Rs. 16,000/- per month (Maximum)

8. Essential Qualifications and experience : M.Sc. /B.Tech./M.Tech. in any branch of biological sciences with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA

9. Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences : GATE/NET; Prior experience of commonly used molecular biology techniques.

10. Accommodation : Bachelor accommodation in the Institute may be provided subject to availability.
