Applications are invited for the position of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India and National Research Foundation (NRF), South Africa Bilateral Research Project titled ‘“Developing environmental-friendly packaging materials with essential oils to control the postharvest diseases in mango”.

Emoluments: Rs. 16,000 + 20% House Rent Allowance (HRA) per month fixed for initial two years and Rs 18,000+ 20% HRA per month fixed for the third year. Terms and conditions will be followed as per the DST guidelines.
Duration: 3 years (2014-2017)
Qualification: M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Life Sciences/ Chemical Engineering
Experience in Microbiological techniques, Analytical techniques, Packaging Technology is preferred. The candidate should prefer to go South Africa yearly once for a month duration.
