JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (TEMP)
1. Qualification & experience : Minimum 60% marks for Post Graduation (Essential) in Biochemistry/Biotechnology.
One year experience in working in a research laboratory and knowledge of basic cell biology techniques.
Basic knowledge in computer applications is Desirable.
2. Maximum age as on 31-10-2014 : 35 years.
3. Number of vacancies : 1 (One)
4. Consolidated remuneration : ` 12000/- +20% HRA for 1st and 2nd year;
` 14000/- +20% HRA for 3rd year.
5. Tenure of appointment : 1 year (may be extended) or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier.
6. Brief job description : Timely collection of informed consent and processing of tissue biopsy, procuring biochemicals and other requirements, maintaining inventory of consumables and contingency expenses, performing basic cell biological experiments and helping in animal experiments, any other work assigned by the PI that would help in the smooth conduct of the project.
7. Nature of appointment : Purely on contract.

9. Venue : Mini Conference Hall, 3rd Floor, AMC Building Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Medical College Campus, Trivandrum-11

Note : Depending on the number of candidates, a written test of a qualifying nature will be conducted for initial screening and only qualified candidates will be called for interview. Marks obtained in the written test, if conducted, will not be counted for final ranking.
