Walk in interview for the post of JRF-1

Recruitment for the above positions will be done purely on contractual basis for a period
of Twenty Six Months in a research project as per details given below:

Title of the project: “Molecular mechanisms of salicylic acid mediated improvement in shelf life and fruit quality of tomato

Funding Agency: DST, New Delhi

Name of position: Junior Research Fellow –01

Emoluments per month: JRF- Rs. 12,000/- plus 30% HRA

Essential qualification:
Junior Research Fellow: First class M. Sc. in Botany/ Plant Physiology/ Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Life Sciences (preferably Plant Sciences) from a recognized University.

Candidates with at least two years experience after PG degree/ registered for Ph.D. elsewhere and completed course work will be given preference. Hands on experience in
molecular biological techniques, proficiency in MS Office and use of internet is required.
{Preferably NET/NET (LS) qualified}

Age limit: Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women (Age relaxation for SC/ST/ OBC as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules).

Terms and Conditions: 

The above post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis for initially for twelve months.

The selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointment(s)/absorption either at this Institute or ICAR system.

The post is co-terminus with respective project/scheme. 
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. 
Please bring all attested copies and originals of all certificates from Matric onwards along with bio-data, reprints of publications, thesis, one passport size attested photo, no objection and experience certificate from the present employer.

Only the candidate having essential qualification and reaching the venue well in time will be entertained for interview. 
