Applications are invited for Walk-in-Interview for the following temporary position in the DBT-Twining sponsored project entitled “Protein Folding Kinetics is a Selection Force on Shaping Codon Usage Bias in the High Expression Genes” under Dr. S.K Ray, Associate Professor, Department of MBBT, Tezpur University and Principal Investigator.

Position : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

No. of Position : One (01)

Qualification : M.Sc in Biotechnology/Life Sciences with sufficient training and experiences in the field of Molecular Biology/Microbiology. NET/GATE/DBT-JRF qualified candidate shall be given preference.

Fellowship : Rs. 16,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Thousand) only per month plus 10% HRA as admissible for the first and second year for the NET/GATE/DBT-JRF qualified candidate. Rs. 12,000/- (Rupees Twelve Thousand) only plus 10% HRA as admissible for the period for the candidate with NET-LS or without NET/BET/GATE.

Duration : Two (02) years or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.

Age : Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Challenged applicants.

Date & Venue of Interview : At 11.00 A.M on 25th November, 2014 in the Department of MBBT, Tezpur University.

N.B : No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
